New "G" Line From Logitech

Well, Logitech has done it agian. They will be showing off their new “G” line of gaming products at CES.

These include the, G19 Gaming Keyboard, G9x Gaming Mouse and the G35 7.1 surround sound gaming headset.

The software that comes with the G35 will have voice changing modes that include, cyborg, giant, mutant, space squirrel, troll and alien.

The G19 keyboard looks like it has 2-3 differnt LED backlighting colors that you can change through software or on the fly, and it comes complete with a color LED display.

The G9x mouse looks the same but boasts a 5000DPI engine. This puts it close to the top as far as DPI is concerned.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically Logitech have made a new line of their famous "G" line products which are used as computer hardware and mainly for gamers. They have a new keyboard, mouse and even headset to go along with it. Much hasent changed from their new mouse compared to the older G series, they have just boosted the DPI engine of it to 5000 which allows for more sensitivity in the mouse while playing games for those users that like alot of it. As for the keyboard it has 2 to 3 different backlighting colours that light up the keys and that you can change on the fly if you would like to or in the software. It also has an LCD Display Screen at the top of it just like the old one did as well, which shows information about the game your playing and game stats, but with the new one it has a colour screen instead of black and white. What makes a gaming keyboard like this one different from regular keyboards is not just these cool new features for while your playing games, it is the technology in it. For example for keystrokes, which means as soon as a button is pressed or multiple buttons at a time it will send that information quicker to your computer to respond to it and display it on the screen. This gives an advantage to gamers who play online games for instance, so they have that little bit more of an upper hand against their opponent and what could decide victory or loss for them. Now for the headset, I'am pretty sure this is their first headset in their G line series that they have made for us. It is a 7.1 surround sound gaming headset, and looks like it has the features other gaming headsets have as well. Which are stuff like a microphone attached to the headset for when users are playing online and want to chat with their buddies about the game over voice communication instead of typing, this giving them an upper hand for they are pratically talking to each other instead of typing so they can get information across quicker about their opponent lets say or something like that. As well as the actual headset being comfortable when you wear it, because they know gamers will be gaming for hours at a time. Also things like a button that mutes the microphone, so when you have to talk with someone not in the game your playing you can mute it for privacy.

I think these 3 new technology products will be very successful because everyone knows Logitech is a good brand and are known for always making quality products for their customers. The price for the keyboard I would say would be something around the price of $100 to $125, for the mouse approximietly $50 to $75 and for the headset proberly $75 to $100. I have to say I would buy their products, but only the keyboard out of their G line series because their are other better brands that specialise in gaming mouses and headsets. I would simply use their products if I ever bought one for gaming but as well as just normal use on the computer.
